This is just a quick one because it’s Thursday and I have zero energy, but I think it’s important for you to know that you do not have to vote.
Not voting because you are worried about voting, or too poorly to get out there and do it does not make you a bad person.
It is not a reflection of how much you care, nor does it mean that you do not have a view on any of the policies. It does not mean you are not entitled to a political stance.
Do not let other people make you feel bad because you haven’t voted.
(This is not, of course, to say that other people shouldn’t use social media as a platform to express their views, just that it’s OK to not have made it to the ballot box.)
